We always carry out a pre admission assessment to ensure that we are ready to meet the needs of each resident when they move into Court House.
Well trained staff are on hand to provide as little or as much care as is required.
We regularly review our care plan system and alongside daily chats with the manager and care staff, we are able to identify any needs the residents have.
Help with washing, dressing and showering is offered where needed. Whilst all bathrooms have showers or wet rooms, we have hydraulic bath chairs to aid residents where necessary. Residents are encouraged to continue managing their own medication if they so wish, but help is on hand if required.
Care staff will come to residents rooms in the morning make the bed, clean the bathroom, empty rubbish bins and see if any other help is required.
Once a week the staff will do a full room clean, change the bedding and turn the mattress when needed. Laundry will be taken and washed, ironed and returned the following morning. All personal laundry will be washed and dried separately from other residents laundry.
